Who developed this carbon calculator?
This carbon calculator was developed in France by the French Agency for Ecological Transition (ADEME) and beta.gouv.fr, in partnership with the Association Bilan Carbone (ABC).
The Geneva version of the calculator you are using here is based on the tool developed by ADEME and beta.gouv.fr with their kind assistance. The emission factors, content, and references have been adjusted to ensure that the calculations are as accurate as possible for Geneva.
This version, specially designed for Geneva, is the result of a collaboration between the State of Geneva, the City of Geneva, and 2050Today.
